Problem with Sagem ITD series (Freeview)

I have just bought this freeview decoder and have two separate problems:

1. the picture often crashes - the machine seems to stall and switches itself off.

2. i have set the picture to 4.3 - and then letterbox, however, sometimes for no apparent reason the picture returns to pan-and-scan. i then have to switch the machine off, re-programme and hope that it goes back to letterbox (which it sometimes does, and sometimes doesnt!).

any advice would be great. many thanks.

have the same prob m8 it's a pain in the bottom

Take it back to the shop, they shouldn't do that.
