I have today changed my single lnb with a invacom QDH-031 quad lnb with the aim of being able to watch on multiple receivers in different rooms.

I have changed the lnb and am getting the signal (slightly better than previous) but it only works on one receiver. I have hooked up two other recievers and get 0% signal strength on both. I have checked wiring and all appears to be in order but am confused why i can get one signal and not the other two. Do all ports need to be in use or is there something else im missing?

Any help is appreciated.

Firstly take the cable that goes to the digibox that works and try that on all the outputs one by one and see if that digibox still works. That will tell you if the lnb is okay. Or bring the boxes to the cable that works to see if they are okay.

Are you sure it's the quad and not the quattro QTH-031

I thought that earlier but as there was no mention of the working receiver only receiving a batch of channels, I thought maybe not afterall. Sure it wouldn't be the first :)

I got back on the roof and checked if it atually was the quad lnb i ordered and it is, so next step will be to switch around the cables to see they work on the working feed but will have to wait until it stops snowing. Im pretty sure its not the receivers as i have used them as recently as last week. Thanks for your help, will let you know how it goes.

It may be worth a check that all the receivers are getting the correct length of central core through the F connector as previously it has been found that different makes of stb require different lengths
