Hi Guys,

Since getting my 1.2m dish ive been able to get satellites more west, one of them is Intelsat 905. To cut a long story short iam having problems scanning 11495 V 44100 DVB-S2 on my Spiderbox 7000 HD even though the signal is really strong and iam able to lock. I cant see any other working frequencies so i dont know whether its a problem with this specific satellite. Other satellites/channels are working fine and iam able to scan in new channels.

Bit of a strange one but any help would be appreicated

This is 27.5w, not 24.5w as these are the BBC channels that cannot be tuned in on most receivers because of scrambled PMT.

Didnt know thanks, sorry for mislabelling the satellite feeling a bit tired.

Are there any other active frequencies? Ive done a few blind scans and researching but nothing springs up.

Other than a bunch of feeds, which come and go, there's nothing else. Some data transponders you can lock but not scan.

Hi mike, you should get a few channels at 24.5 W try 11675 V 27500,
http://www.flysat.com/is905.php

Cheers but i was originally talking about 27.5w, i thought my box was faulty because i couldnt scan 11495 V 44100 but i wasnt aware of the PMT being scrambed. Ive only been able to get this satellite thanks to a new dish and motor. 24.5w is working perfectly. One thing that had surprised me is how different this setup is to my other setup in both good and bad ways (New satellites, new channels but still missing out of some things) but you cant have everything in this business unless your a bond villain.
