Problems with Stoke

Posted elsewhere, I find that when I try to put in my home town of S t o ke on Trent I get this:
Stoke on Trent.
I know it is well known (or was) for it smoky atmoshpere due to the pottery kilns, but this is taking the micky! O-Ha
