I am quite new to this as well and I used an "Infinity USB Phoenix" and it worked without any problem, easy to use!

Try AD-Tekniks Phenoix/smartmouse will do Titianum/Dragon loader/Fun7 very easy to use and reliable.

I,m not very technically minded but have had great success with my Duolabs Dynamite usb prog.
