Programming MR with Laptop problems

H'i to you all,can anybody help me just got a new dell inspiron 5150 and need a driver for updateing mr I have one but xp don't let me load it pcmcia (Texas instruments pci4510)

You may have a problem with the 32 bit PCMCIA slot, I think that the MR requires a 16 bit slot.

Thanks for the quick reply ROLFW thats bad news for me as I was looking forward to useing it for cam's maybe theres a way out?

Not saying thatit's definitely the case, but I seem to remember hearing that it is, will have a check and see.

Would appear that some laptops can recognise both, try inserting the cam and if it recognises it as an unknown device, you just ask it to install drivers from the location where you have the correct drivers.dreammagic.inf/dvbcamd.sys .

Tutut over on Toecutters started a very informative thread, but I think that he is upgrading it at the moment, he answered most questions on using a Laptop.
