What with the advent of Youview launching on Freeview next year, are there any plans for Freesat and if so will a person have to buy a new receiver or can they be upgraded by connection or OTA.:confused:

The YouView package is more to do with what your current location cannot receive with the aerial, rather than any new/ additional packages.

The channel lineup is going to be almost identical to what it is now, the box design features a dual tuner and hard drive for dual record/ watch/record.

The ethernet connection is the main change, allowing both VOD and specific channel content to be downloaded, plus I would gather some form of audience participation return feed.

I wouldn't go out of my way to reserve a box quite yet.
