PTV (?)

Telstar 11N

12.549H
SR 1250
FEC 2/3

FTA

Yet another PTV if the tag is correct. Screen shows INC.

No idea of the country of origin, Arabic obviously. Playing decadent Western pop music, so unlikely to be religious.

Hi Llew
Tried to get it this morning, but no luck, it was raining. Locked in AOK now.
I thought PTV was Palestine TV.

I've seen two or three channels going under that title J.

You may be right. Take your pick out of Palestine, Pakistan, even Persia (a pro-Monarchist channel somewhere).

I seem to remember (god my brayun hurts:)) early this year/late last year. PTV was a palestine channel, somewhere in the arc.

Is there some special gear I need to get so that I can screen grab. If you remember, my digital camera leaves terrible flash burns on the pics. Hence I do not post any pics of new channels.

A USB video capture card might suit you J.

There's the Easycap for a tenner (do a search). RCA input from your STB, self- powered from the USB. Don't know what it's like personally, cheap as chips though.

You should be able to take a digital picture of the TV without flash quite easily
