Quad LNB on 80cm dish

I live in southern France, have a basic Sky subscription & a Sky Free to View box but am thinking about moving on to a Sky+ system. We have lots of problems with reception & need a 80 cm dish. Can I fit a Quad LNB to any dish or does it have to be a Sky dish as some people suggest?

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

No, if you use a standard fitting quad, it will be fine on any dish. Something like This.

Yes they are, they also advertise on the forum, so help towards the running costs as well. :)

Yes, I noticed that they had signed up Rolf. Nice one. They've always been good on price, and seem to provide a pretty good service whenever I've dealt with them.
