1.9m dish, twin lnb, with humax freesat receiver, and pace sat box in another room

Spain near Torrevieja
I have had a1.9m dish installed in Spain with a twin LNB and a Humax Fresat receiver. I want to change the LNB to a quad, is this easy to do and do I have to have the same make LNB. Can I change the bit at the back with the outputs on it, it sems to be fitted with 2 screw bolts on to an aluminium ring with numerous screw holes, and is it critical to set it at a specific angle. Sorry if vague but am a novice when it comes to this stuff. Have tried to get the original installer to change it but he is very reluctant to come for a small job. I can do cableing myself. Thanks, John.

Hi John, yes a C120 LNB is probably what you already have fitted, many people swear by the Invacom C120 quad, see some of the posts in the Astra 28.2 section for details.

Skew (rotation) is critical in fringe reception, so try and emulate the position of the existing one when fitting the new LNB

Great, thanks very much, will now get suggested quad lnb and fit at same angle, have a good one, a greatful John.
