qualititv dvi out to hdmi

hi can any one tell me if they have had a picture from the dvi out socket on a quailitv receiver connected to a tv with hdmi .ive hooked up a dvi to hdmi cable from the qualitv receiver which has a dvi output to a tv with hdmi, altered the input on the tv to the hdmi nput but there is no picture but when i use the scart cable and set the input to the tv to av1 i get a picture does anyone have any idea why i get no pic with the dvi to hdmi cable thanks

Just guessing - I could well be wrong - it might be because the Qualitv reveiver isn't HDCP compliant (whereas, your tv expects it).

Have you tried the analogue HD connection?

hi spiney thanks for the reply but just found out that it required a firmware upgrade cos panasonics were hit and miss done that now ok thanks
