RIP Queen Elizabeth II

The Queen passed away peacefully this afternoon,

The Queen’s 70-year reign has ended, and her eldest son, Charles, is now King of the United Kingdom.

It was interesting watching 11090 H 5000 at the time, it has talkback and you heard the director give Dermott a secret phrase about 5 minutes before it was announced.

Why are you surprised? It was the same in most TV networks in the world.
Here in Italy we had live broadcasting from yesterday afternoon after the first announcement telling us that medical staff was worried.
Then yesterday evening we had the death announcement live with the BBC.
It is normal I believe, and it was the same all over the world.

French TV interrupted programmes with the news too. Romanian TV was already in its news hour and it was the main story; the former King Michael of Romania was a cousin of Queen Elizabeth.

It sounded like 'megraced' to me, was a bad line
They used to use 'Mrs Robinson' when they were doing rehearsals. Seen them a few times over the years from Windsor Castle..
