I have a 80cm dish that used to be pointing to Hotbird. Having caught the "more channels" bug I bought myself an extra lnb, the mounting brackets and some cables.

It was easy enough to also get Astra 1 with the same dish BUT I have now found out that my receiver only has one input for the aerial cable :-(

How do I connect my to lnbs to the same receiver? Has it got anyting to do with this disec stuff I cannot get my head around?!

I live in london can I get away with a 60cm dish?

Thanks for your help...

DiseqC is easy, stands for Digital satelite equipment Control, nothing more complex. :) You buy a two way DiseqC switch, connect it to the two lnbs, call one A and the other B, then you set the same for the satellites in your receiver LNB/Satellite setup.

Thanks for your reply: I've just purchased a 2-way disecq!

If you can, upgrade your order to a four way

That way if you expand further, you wont need to buy another switch

Won't be long before you are asking us about a motor. Once you start you can't stop.
