Having moved house not to long ago. I have just got around putting my radio scanner up and I find that over half of my data base is out of date.

Does any one know of some good sites ect to get upto date freqs please?

I used to buy the UK Sacnning Directory many years ago but I haven't done any scanning for a long time. Is there much left these days or is a lot now digital?

I am just going to give it a try. I know the aircraft are still there along with some shop/pub watch, taxi ect. No police fire or ambulance.

But I know you can packet decode with a pc and sound card.

Oh yes, I remember decoding pagers using a sound card back in the 90s.

Ah back then you need at least 5 scanners to know what was going on.

I have also just found my freq sniffer pity i can't afford a pc scanner card just yet.

I have seen a few videos for converting a tv usb stick for scanning, I will give it a go when I find my tv dongle.

That's a good idea. I have an old tv card that also had radio.

Let us know how you get on.
