Sky Digi Box Italian version

Have got an Italian Sky Box (not hd) with Italian Sky card with Sky subscription for Sky Sports and use it in the UK. Have had this for about 4 years. Via this sky box get all the Italian channels (same as UK sky)

Since the start of the 2009-2010 football season all football games on Rai Uno and Due go blank this has never happened before apart from games that may be on Sky only.

Anyone tell me why this has started and a work around

Thanks

Sorry when I say get all Italian channels (same as UK sky) I mean all the Italian terestial channels

The RAI channels have left Sky Italia and gone to a new venture called Tivusat

They have dropped the NDS encryption for sports & movies and gone over to Nagra 3.

If you want full access restored you will need a Tivusat box (Italian address required)

Thanks for the information.

How will the tivusat box connect to bring the channels to my tv in the uk. Will it be through the current sky dish or will I need additional lnb etc.

They are still on 13E so just a new receiver & card required.

The channels haven't moved, you just need to connect the box, but if you keep your Sky Italia box, you will need to change to a quad LNB and run in an extra feed.

Please note that activation of TivùSat Cards will require an Italian TV Licence .................

No problem here about Italian address and Italian TV licence.

I have a TM6900 SUPER could the card work in there? if so who is the issuer of the card?

Cheers

Not at the moment.

TivùSat will only work with a dedicated Receiver right now: They intend to make a CAM available sometime next year.

Slowly, slowly, I'm afraid!

Please have a look at the Threads in the Tivù Platform section of the Forum - There are various useful bits of information and links in there, unfortunately not yet presented in a particularly coherent way.
