XTrend ET8000, Dr HD 15, PC/twinhan combination. 80cm dish. GBPVR with 2 DTTV cards +hauppauge Media MVP +Raspberry Pi running XBMC

Hardware costing less that £40 with HDMI output. It's running the Openelec version of XBMC and apart from working as a front end to my NextPVR media PC there are loads of plugins for Youtube, Vimeo, Icefilms etc.... and it also works as web radio. There's an app so you can control it from Android device. Better pic than ageing Hauppauge MediaMVP, but still learning about it.

The Raspberry Pi is a great learning tool for networking, streaming and just general computer stuff. Mine certainly taught me a thing or two that a generic Windows computer never would, and it will probably help wean you off Windows eventually.
Excellent bit of kit if you don't lose your temper with it......

We only have one, unused Window with a very poor Vista. Don't even clean it now.

Don't use mine often, but for the price it's excellent value. Got Raspbmc loaded with Navi-X.

My mate used to build these and sell them on ebay. You can watch a lot of stuff but make sure you use a proxy ip address , just incase any company is scanning just what you are watching and from where as i say from experience you can watch a heck of a lot on them.... :-righton
