Real time lightning storm map

Yeah I like that site, came in handy last weekend!

I was in a large field on a hilltop when I started seeing flashes on the horizon, then the odd rumble, last Friday night so I made a quick retreat back to the car. Didn't fancy being the tallest thing in a thunder storm. By the time I got home 15 mins later the heavens opened and there was almost non stop lighting. Luckily we missed the worst of it though as it didn't go quite overhead.
