Reborn CAM -advice sought

Humax 5400, Pan 20, Technomate 1500 CI+, Win XP
My Location
North Lincolnshire
I have got myself a Matrix Reborn CAM, activated, as it works in my Humax 5400, at least it accepts my Art Viaccess card and my Dutch FTA Seca card.

I understand this CAM can be used for 3 purposes:

1 - As a multi CAM with an appropriate official card in.
2 - For an official card(s) but a card does not have to be in.
3 - For other purposes, but we will leave that for later.

Could someone please tell me how to do number 2, above.

I am sure someone can guide you through this but if I am understanding you correctly it involves programming the cam with some mrb software so you need a programmer such as a CAS 2 to flash the cam.
 
I think it might already be done. It is an Mrb 3.17, it gives me options of "Edit CAS Key", "Change Nagra Boxkey", "Blocker", "Upgrade Firmware". In key editing I have various providers already listed in 3 separate lists of Via and 1 list of Seca.
 
I do not know if this is the latest version as I have never had one so you will have to check that yourself, seems like you will be busy playing for a while;)
