I am trying to helpfully specify and install a satellite receiver for a very elderly lady, who is part disabled and easily gets confused.

Please could you kindly recommend a satelitte receiver capable of receiving Hellas Sat 2 (39.0E) with a 'very very simple UI and simple remote'. Ideally, it will not require more than one button push to do the obvious i.e. switch on, change channel and the less buttons on the remote the better. Greek language capability is a bonus, but not a must.
Being a pensioner, I doubt that she will be paying for the Nova package, so a CAM might also not be necessary. Again a bonus if it's there.

Thank you in advance for your support.

One of the TMs would do nicely. I set up a Clarke Tech(same as Technomate) for an 85 yr old Polish lady and she managed it alright, and she spoke no English,LOL. The TM5200 would be OK for just FTA channels. There are a number of buttons on the remote, but it is well laid out with clear to see buttons, unlike some cheaper receivers I have seen.

The TM5400CI+ if you want a CAM slot.

Just add all the Greek channels she wants to watch to favourites.
