I have a receiver type (Hivion HV-9090fta).

There is a serial connection RS 232 in the back of the receiver.

what is this part use for???

The rs232 is normally used for flashing the stb with either updated manufacturer's firmware using a null modem cable, or patched software which either has emulators and keys in it to illegally open channels or contains a card sharing program that allows distributed card sharing from a master server that has a valid subscription.
