Receivers which work with the MR and those which don't

Matrix reloaded CAM, as per section heading fario. :)
 
have just bought a TF5000PVR and I have a MR CAM.

I have programmed the CAM with a CAS2 and the MR 1.1 version.
I haver also tried with other versions.
My TF5000 has the may 29 2004 firmware version.

Wen I put the CAM in the TF5000, it is recognised, I can see it in the menu, enter the cam and see all the keys that are correct.

When I select a not FTA channel., nothing happens as if there were no CAM.

Does someone know what happens ?? Is there a patch I have to install ?

A lot of the advice said initialise the cam in another receiver....well that would be fine if I had another receiver.....If I had another receiver I wouldn't need the Humax!!!
I have now decided to sell the Humax and buy a Technomate, hopefully life will be a bit easier with that receiver!!

So as far as RolfW's survey goes I would definately give the Humax CI 5100 a thumbs down.....I tried and failed!!!!

The 5100 in my experience has been a wast of time,i've had one for four years and it is still in the box,as for cams it would only ever recognise a viaccess cam which i traded in for a magic cam at the time, even then it never decoded anything.i upgraded the reciver software and added the allcam patch.

a true waste of time.
 
works fine on my humax5300+technomate 5500ci plus

1- Humax 5400/5300/5100
2- Technosat 6600plus (Embeded Conax 2 CIs)
3- Starsat (embeded conax)
4- Databox(embeded UCAS)

also a Strong 4355 works with a Matrix Reloaded MR 1.081 (no card)
I get Multivision and TPS all OK so got my footy, the odd film and come
11pm loads of mature content what more can I ask for!
 
Hi All

I have Humax 5100ci + Mr no card
So far i have run mr 1.12
Recently upgrade mr to mrv 2.13 using Laptop
Works great
I do have problem with the cam initialising but find if i put the cam back into the laptop
and run the loader program but dont update the cam initialises when i put it back into the humax
Very Strange
Also the laptop has problems recognising the cam but when i rollback the drivers and then update its ok

I have a nextwave 2500c I've bought it already patched with mr 1.130. I can't figure out how to add /change or update keys. Woul you be so kind to help me out? Thanx
 
Technisat Digicorder1 and Matrix Rev 2.13 works well on Hispasat as well as on Astra and Hotbird. Too much south for Thor or Sirius. Every 20-30mins a short "inicialising cam" message apears, even on free channels,this message is not seen on recordings.

works with problems on the Xtreme
Though the Xtreme with the dsc 911 uz emu works fine without th MR 1.14
Yu dont need the MR at all!!!
All open here polsat multivision tps dutch channels with no cards or cams inserted

I have purchased MR one year ago and never got any benefit with my patched Humax 5400z I tried everythig the Humax recognizes the cam as MR 1.081 but not opening any channel even with valid legal cards , asking friends for a solution, thanks.
