Hello,

Has anyone ever tried if it is possible to receive two satellites with an offset of one degree on the same LNB?

For that: is it possible to receive Eutelsat 9e and 10e on the same LNB with a triax 88?

Thanks in advance!

Yup with a big enough dish its easy. You will need at least a 1m dish though as 10E is quite a bit lower power than 9E.

Not just 1 degree either - Ive has the heavily inclined 20W as a bonus on a 22W lnb. A better example of 5E & 3E on an 80cm dish aimed at about 4E.

Yes.

Motorise it.

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
One of my carefully aligned fixed 90cm dishes (which is slightly larger than a TD88, which I also have, as well as a TD78 and a TD110! :D ), and using the same LNB. is pretty good for both 9E and 10E with the SX88/88+ - although, of course, I get more channels with either of the larger steerable dishes. Thus the TD88 should work for both sats for the stronger transponders - although only after very carefull azimuth/elevation/skew alignments as even a "very slight" error in any of those then it won't work as well.
OTOH, if I was using the TD78 (in reality not much larger than a decent 60cm dish :( ) instead, then the results would be "poorer" - especially on 10E - which is why it's not used for those sats.

Thanks for the reply’s!

First of all: motorising isn’t an option as the dish feeds 3 receives.
Now this dish has 5 LNB’s: 19e 13e 9e 4.8e and 0.8w so I guess it won’t be that easy to align it for reception of 9e and 10e and still being able to receive the other satellites?
All my LNB’s are now standing against each other without space in between them. With the exception of 0,8W which has a little bit of space.

I'm getting 9E and 10E with an old 1,8 m dish. No problem at all.

If that is the case, also with 13E and 19E (6 degrees arc), then 13E-10E will be difficult (just 3 degrees arc)!
You'd probably need a dish with a greater focal distance ~ so basically a bigger dish for that.
Or use 2 dishes, and divide the LNBs over them (28-19-13; and 9-5-1W).
