Receiving Freesat channels on a fortic star hd receiver

Hi,
I hope this is the right place to post this question.
I am using free sart with a fortic star hd receiver but I can't get channel 5. BBC 4, Dave or Yesterday. I have tried scanning but no joy.
Could anyone advise me if it is possible to receive these stations and if so, what are the co-ordinates, (if that is the right word).
Apologies if this is a rather basic question.

You can't get Dave or Yesterday as they are Encrypted on Satellite, despite being Free to Air on Freeview.

But no problem with Five, BBC4 etc ............

Your pre-stored Transponder list is probably out of date (They almost always are!).

Transponder listings can be found on Flysat, Lyngsat , KingofSat etc.

But start off by adding the Transponders

10803 H 22000 5/6 for BBC4

and

10964 H 22000 5/6 for all the Fives
 
Dave and Yesterday are not on Freesat - if thats what you mean by "Freesart".
Via satellite these are Sky subscription channels. Not to be confused by the fact that they are available for free via Freeview (via tv aerial).
It may be that as BBC 4 does not actually start to broadcsat until 7pm then it may not appear on your channel list if you are scanning before then - same for BBC3.
As for channel Five, make sure that the transponder / frequency for Channel 5 of 10965 h 22000 5/6 is being scanned, as it may be that it does not have this frequency in its prestored list.
You wil not yet find Five HD on Freesat, as it is not yet on Freesat.

Except I forgot BBC Four isn't on air until 19.00 !

Thank you very much for your replies - yes I did mean free sat, sorry for the typo.
Its a shame about Dave & Yesterday as I like their programmes but free view reception is very bad here in Felixstowe. Thanks to your help, I will have a shot at getting 5 and BBC4.
