Bulgaria
Hi everyone ! From a plenty of time ago I am eager to test these ka band frequencies on the satellites that mentioned above. Does someone have more information about the signal strength of them and in fact the footprint maps are they correct or not ?

Ok, briefly Ka reception into Bulgaria according to footprint data taken from 'Satbeams' and to be taken as reasonably accurate.
19 East Ka from Astra 1L @ 18GHz Band A is well out of footprint for Bulgaria - you might just get a sniff at it with a 3.7 Ka spec antenna on a good day if your very lucky.
16 East Ka from Eutelsat 16A - Band D - 21GHz - Ka Europe C Beam. Should be good reception into Bulgaria, 80cm antenna upwards.
7East- Eutelsat. Band D - Europe C beams- Ka beams 7A & 7B, good reception into Bulgaria - 80cm upwards.
4.9East - Astra 4A, Band D - both 'Interactive' & 'Interconnect' Ka beams well out of footprint for Bulgaria.
12.5 West -WGS 3 Ka. Band C, Out of footprint for Bulgaria.
A band A type lnb is needed for 19.2 East Ka frequencies.
A band D type lnb is needed for 16E & 7E

Good luck with it.

Thanks for your fast and detailed answer, as soon as I get KA lnb which is made for the range 20-22 suitable for 16E 7E test will be made, then I am going to test the rest of the satellites only for the curiosity...

A plenty of time I am looking for the Inverto LNB KU/KA and it is the only one which in the range 20-22 where are the 16E and 7E channels. Can someone please find a link to buy such LNB ? I will be very thankful.

Some of our members have imported American Dish TV Ka band lnb's in recent years. Have a look through the threads in the Ka band section :)

the supply of the Inverto Ka/Ku units dried up around a year ago from the two known suppliers, one in the UK and one in Germany. Enthusiasts have been trying ever since to find another supplier source but no joy at the moment. The enthusiasts that have them at the moment are tending to keep them but you might get lucky. We have even tried contacting Inverto directly but they will only do a new production run for something like a 1000 units or more.

Thanks a lot for the information, then I will have to wait for a second hand unit.

They sure know that it's rare, price is about twice the value it was bought for.

just trying to remember what we were paying for them in the UK when they first came out a few years ago - the first one i had three years or so ago was from Satshop24.de who was the only supplier back then. With shipping to the UK it was in the region of £82, the next one i had from them about 6 months or so later was in the region of £90. By this time Satellite Superstore in the UK was stocking them and they were in the region of about £100 or so.

Seems a fair price to me, some clown a while back was asking £200 for one on E Bay

Indeed .. Paid £100.00 for mine 2 years ago from Satellite S.S. ....

Can only remember they cost about €79, which is far less that what you all are saying.
Must be a Brexit thing. ;-)

Hi to all of you. I will be pleased to buy this Ka+Ku Inverto LNB. Yesterday I gave a call to sales departement at Inverto, Lexemburg. The sales agent told me that this LNB was made specially for the MENA market. The production got stoped. According to the sales, if some one orders 1000 pieces, they can make it possible.

I have the chance to see a couple of tests on Youtube regarding Ka band reception on eutelsat 16A (Ka). By watching I was happy to discover some tv channals from the country where I was born (Cameroon) such as STV, Camnews, Equinox...

My question: does someone on this forum get the Ka/Ku Inverto LNB that they don't use anymore for sale? I would realy pleased to install it on my roof in Germany,

Have a great day.

These are very rare on the second hand market - simply because hobbyists are hanging onto them now as they are so hard to get hold of. You are about the 3rd person wanting one on the forum at the moment!

If any are offered they will appear on the "for sale" section of the forum.
