My Satellite Setup
Silvercrest SL65 sat receiver, Satcontol Motor sm3d12, Comag co80 Dish
My Location

I am looking for a new Sat Receiver recommendation
I'm in the uk, i own a Satcontrol sm3d12 motor with Comag 80cm dish
iv'e got a comag/silvercrest sl65 attached to the dish at the moment, it works very good
but it is a very basic receiver
so im looking to update and need a new box, sd or hd, prefer hd
anyone recommend a good receiver please

This really depends on your budget and also is your looking for a Linux or Non-Linux receiver.

If your looking for a HD Linux receiver I'd recommend the VU+ Duo or its baby brother the Solo. For a non-Linux receiver I'd look at the new technomate range TM5402, TM6902 and TM7902. Really does come down to budget and getting the best you can afford.

can also recommend Dreambox DM800s and Blade 7000-S

both work very well :)
