Recover PIN code?

My Satellite Setup
Ubuntu Linux desktop computer wired to a 1 Mbps internet.
Dreambox 500s satellite receiver that I just bought, replacing the old Humax 5100.
My Location
Egypt, Cairo
My pli dreambox won't accept my PIN code, I have no idea why! I must've been distracted pretty good when I was typing it in. Is there anyway I can change it via ftp? Where is it usually stored?
 
There is at least one thread on the forum with suggestions of how to recover lost passwords on a DB. If they dont work you will have to reflash the box with a new image.

Shouldnt be a problem unless you are connected to a pay cardserver and have had the box supplied by them.
 
No, but I'm a pretty particular guy; I spent hours tweaking every little thing to my liking. I'll have to start over again :(
