I have a bunch of old phones lying around, like Sony Ericssons, Blackberries etc. Is there a charity box I can take/send it to? Seems a bit of a waste to tip perfectly functional, if outdated, phones.

Try a Mobile Phone shop ..... when I changed SWMBO's handset, they told me there are schemes to recycle many types of phone.

Sadly, our prehistoric Philips C12 wasn't on the wanted list!

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...
My Location
Near Pontop Pike, Co. Durham
Thrown 'em on ebay in a "sold as is spares repair" listing, someone's bound to want them... :)

I think I have an old 6610 or something similar. It's flashed with Russian firmware, so you won't be able to read anything (unless you read Russian).

A few, for emergency situations.

On some occasions it was cheaper to buy a secoond hand mobile with an original battery, than buy a new replacement one which has no staying power after the first month.
