Here's the latest version of the Dreambox Config creator.



Change Log :-

• Major changes to the general GUI.
• A new Menu form.
• Seperate forms for each different config arrangement.
• Added the ability to add external readers (Smargo & Omnikey) in both NewCS and CCcam.
• MGCamd config removed in this release.
• NewCS advanced mode disabled in this release.
• Compatible with the new CCcam 2.1.3 for Sly UK.
• Many other bug fixes and minor improvments.

Tutorial. How To Create A CCcam.cfg

1. Setup the basic information as below.

2. Click start to move to the config creation form.

3. Selec the preset you want to use, EG Sly UK.
4. Select reader and speed.
5. Create a boxkey if required.
6. Use the $ buttons to copy the created boxkey to each reader.
7. Always press the 'Preview' button to show the current config settings.
8. After preview is shown , click 'Create CCcam.cfg'
9. Select save location.
10. Once saved you can now click 'FTP CCcam.cfg' to send the config to your Dreambox.

11. Always read the status bar at the bottom of the form for useful information.


Use the menu button to return to the settings menu.

Does the config on this allow the correct updates to the white sky card to stop me having to put the card in my sky digibox once a month? If so what is the diff between the versions of your generated config that did not have this?

CCcam 2.1.3 will now update the card properly. There's no difference in the config as such, the difference is in the new version of the CCcam binary.

Hi B16MCC is there any way this can have an update which can also read your current config file as this one creates a new one each time.

I've found when updating a file one single char in the wrong place can make an invalid file.

Otherwise could you please release the source so I can make an update. (not sure if coded in .Net) ?

Thanks for the suggestion. It is written in VB.NET and I'm always open to suggestions to improve the util, but I won't release the source. I will ofcourse be happy to include the change for you.

hi i just setup a debian server and was wondering could i ust this cfg creator for it, im using a smargo

Well firsty, this particular version is out of date now mate. Please use v0.9.4.
You could use it but you would have to modify the address of the smargo to suite a linux pc.
