Remote advise needed

My Satellite Setup
DiSEqC 1.2 Jeager Motor, Spiderbox HD6000, SSM Steel 80CM Ofset dish, INVERTO Premium Twin Output Satellite LNB, Lat 53.39 Long 02.30
My Location
Cheshire, UK
I have a MAG 256 and the remote annoyingly operates my new Phillips tv when clicking OK and the sound button. The tv switches to TV guide and USB input mode. All other buttons work. Any ideas how to stop this or re programme it? Driving me knuts.
 
It is unlikely you could improve matters, the Philips TV codes are probably the most common combinations out there.

You might be right, just downloaded an app called MAGic remote popped the settings on the box bingo. Now using my phone, however it seems limited functionally but cured my annoying situation. Need to ask the developer why only a few functions work?
