Hi,
I have seen a few applications for iPhone which lets you control your Dreambox (or any Enigma1/2-based receiver) directly from your iPhone. However, I have never seen such a program/application for Windows Mobile.
Therefore I decided to write my own. In this moment, it's very simple with a non-fancy interface BUT it works which is the most important thing. From my device, I can control my IPBox 350 and use most functions which you normally use your remote control for.
I still have to implement a lot of featues. I have in mind the following ones to start with:
1) show/select Channels/Bouquets/Favourites, zapping e EPG on and from your device
2) handle recordings on the device (create, delete e modify timer events) - for instance when you are away from home, you can start recording a film and so on
3) send messages to the TV (knowing that my wife is always watching TV, I can send a message telling her that I am going for a beer with my friends after work - no need for a phone call or a SMS)
and other features.........(I'd love to hear your suggestions)
The application is currently in an Alpha/Beta-stage. I need Beta-testers for Enigma e Enigma2. Please send me a PM if you like to give me a helping hand. Thank you!
