Remote Controll Problem, think its SW or Virus, AzBox HD Premimum

Remote control problem
I have a strange problem my remote control is unresponsive
But I’m not sure it’s the remote being faulty!
It Started playing up yesterday replaced batteries no difference
Ended up powering down receiver and switching on again and it worked fine for a day
Re boot did not fix it

Sometimes the box continues to change on its own cycling through menus
Remote is not controlling even covered the led on remote
I think it’s a software problem or possible a virus or hack
Buttons on box work fine
Have reinstalled firmware on box, running latest on internet download

Box is unuseable anybody got any idea?
any help appreciated

Havent any problems with mine so far, but would get onto support or maybe a new one, Is it still under warranty ?.
 
You should upload a new fresh / latest / FW and put in on an USB
Then save channelsettings, reboot and format the box before You upgrade.
 
I got the same problem too with my Azbox HD elite. I've checked the front pannel looking for anomalies (diodes, etc) and everything work fine, except for a small piece located left bottom of the front pannel (inside) called 12.000 SB. This control de frecuency of the R/C unity but I dont have replacement for this one. I think too this could be a BIOS problem (corrupt), but I can take control of my Azbox using the "Azbox HD Remote Control" program and my deco work well; I can take 100% control of my azbox. If anybody have a solution, please post it !!
