Remote updates for Viaccess

Is it possible to update a Viaccess red CAM via remote, and also a Viaccess embedded CAM? If yes, appreciate anyone's time who can give a quick run through the procedure. I understand no remote update is possible for an Aston Seca CAM, or have I been misinformed?
 
the ability to update keys by remote is not related to the CAM; it is a feature of the software you load onto the card, in combination with the parental-control/PIN feature(s) of your specific receiver.
