I have a mill6 prog and humax f1vac1 i have been trying for ages to get remote codes programmed with no luck does anyone know of a site which gives advice or some sort off tutorial I,am willing to learn but just need a push in the right direction thanks if you can be of assistance.

HI, ENCRYPTION - VIACCESS WAFER CARD - GOLD IT COMES UP AS GALAXY 2 ON THE PROGRAMMER IF THATS ANY HELP, SORRY IF I SEEM A BIT VAGUE I,AM NEW TO THIS, I DONT HAVE A PROB WITH HEX FILE LOADING I JUST THOUGHT IT WOULD GIVE ME AN EXTRA OPTION IF I COULD USE REMOTE CODES ASWELL. By "which files" I don't mean what does your programmer report it as, and in any case a Galaxy2 is a type of card, not a type of file.
I mean which actual fileset did you load? (i.e. who is the author and does the fileset even support remote-update at all - most do not)..?
Examples of filesets: strsh, strsh-remote, viaxenix, Postic-crew, etc etc.

STRSH REMOTES IVE TRIED THESE BUT I DONT THINK YOU CAN DO IT WITH VIACESS EMBEDDED

I must admit, I thought the strsh remote files did work on embedded CAMs. Can't imagine why they wouldn't.

Anyone else help here?

I have not bought my humax just yet, are we saying that embedded viaacess is not good for programmed cards?

Who owns a humax f1 v/a and uses programmed wafer cards to watch digital tv in viaacess encryption?
