Removing the Old Software!???

Is it important to remove the old software and then upload the receiver with the new one??

İn serial section.

Click Firmware.Click Reset receiver.Unplug and plug main power.Receiver resetted.İt's ready for a new firmware.
Click Write.Select new firmware(*.bin).Click open.Unplug and plug main power.1-2 minutes later download is completing

Dear Satilius,
My problem is; a few days ago i uploaded the latest patch for my STAR-SRX150D+ but none of the channels like multivision, Discovery, polsat and.... were oppened!! I think the file didn't work on my receiver, now my question is , should I clean the last firmware on my receiver or not???

Dear satilius
i have a star sat sr-x150d+ and i did all you described in above, but after cleaning my previous firmware any *.bin file that i choose to write the reciever send error and my reciever is not working any more. i wonder my be before writing new firmware i should do something???
please help me
