Could somebody be kind and tell how could I replace a faulty Grundig Sky Receiver, and get the new receiver to recognize my actual Sky Card? I live in East Europe and use a former address for subscription. I cannot phone to Sky for update. My card recognizes only the faulty Grundig. It is a possibility to force a new Digital Box to recognize an existing Sky Card?
Thanks,

Don't think so, the card has to be 'paired' with the box so you will need to give a friend in the UK all your new box info and account details and get them to phone sky for you.

Lancelot is correct - as usual! :D

You could try calling from a mobile and ask them to pair your card.

I know others in Europe have done this successfully.

If it is the power supply which has gone on the Grundig, you can get an exchange unit for less than €50.

If you put the $ly card into another digibox then it will still get all the channels except the premium ones (mostly sport and the film channels).
