yesterday,after a heavey lighting,i disconect the power from my pc room,now my lt 8700,where i move,my egis rotor,over dvb 2000,and the comort,lost his memory,and shows please set east limit not on sat!
now,i should know,how i can synchroneized it again !

and the technical part,what type,of battery akku type ,or eprom inside,is needed to replace,that after interrupting the power,nothing happens again?
 
The battery in my Echostar SR8700 is the normal +3V cell (DL2430).
Likely to be the same in the LT8700.

I think they changed the EEPROM type in the LT, so might not be able to help there.

i replace now ,the barttery.wirth the right type varta CR2430 3 V

but i recogneized,that it not solve the problem,the memory,is lost again and shows no sat,after power interrupt,would could be the other faults,that i could check when its not the battery?
