No chance with any sensible sized dish - its on a spotbeam. My guess for dish size in Europe would something over 10m :D

Turok i suppose you mean this beam here: http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/ew2_madagascar.html

In another board there are users from Kenya and Somalia. Maybe somebody there with 3m can catch a fading signal at its peak. At least in Lubumbashi (the most southern part of the Dem. Rep. Congo) a 1.80m did get all the frequencies. This is what an exile greek told me 2 years ago. This means the footprint at least there is right since Lubumbashi is a little outside of the 40dbW line.

I doubt that anybody in Northern Africa can get this beam so it's extremely unlikely that one does in Europe. Be patient until a very well known cypriotic feedhunter will upgrade his 3.7m to 5.3m. Then we'll see if he can get at least a small peak. But even if the signal is sufficient, the major problem would be the compared very strong neighbour frequencies of the European Beam. The same problem we have in southern Greece with the ORF frequencies on the weaker there 12692H on 1H in comparison to the very strong 12699V on 1L.

So your question can only be answered by people working in uplink/downlink stations that use very huge dishes. The problem is to find such in sat boards that have also the possibility to check since the dishes must be in use most of the time.
