Gibertini 104cm motorised dish with a Technomate 5402 HD CI+ and TBS 6925 + Gibertini 90cm with 9E 13E 19.2E and 28.2/5E with a Hauppauge WinTV NOVA-HD-S2 Media Centre PC and Pure EVOKE Flow Radio + 100cm Channel Master with 2 LNBs at 24.5W and 30W

Never bothered before to post any pictures before buying the Revox AS-2000 Horn Antenna.

Thought it maybe be of interest to people here.

Not finished adjusting signal levels yet, and cable and connectors will need to be wrapped in self amalgamating tape.

I wouldn't have thought the Revox is still in manufacture. I did fit a few in the last century.

You really do need to cover up those connectors as rain is forecast in Wales tonight.

Couldn't say if somewhere they are being manufactured since its 2nd hand.

And its already been sealed :)
 
nice, you could get away with a 1.2 gibby in that location as the small bushes would block out anyone noticing.with the brambles growing in there too
 
That' so weird, I was looking at an ad for one of those Horn Antennas just the other day in an old copy of What Sat.
 
Nothing wrong with 'getting the horn', but how dog-eared was the copy ? ;)
 
what for lnb did you mount on the revox as2000 antenna?
My next project is to change the analogue lnb into an digital lnb at my revox.
is this the standard lnb what is on your revox?

Hi - did you ever get any further with your project to upgrade your Revox AS 2000? I have just found my old one in the cellar, and would like to change to digital.

Hi pdq09,
I bought a Megasat 23mm Single LNB and take a saw an saw away the rocket pin.
Then I change the old analogue lnb with the digital one, I get satellite tv but the quality is not fine.
(habe ein Megasat 23mm LNB gekauft,die Spitze abgesägt und schön abgeschliffen. Dann analoges LNB raus, Alu-Feedhalter als Klemme umfunktioniert und Feedhalter samt lnb an den vorhandenen Löchern angeschraubt. Sat-tv krieg ich, aber Qualität noch relativ schlecht).

Can you tell me which LNB you put instead of the original one (some pictures would also be welcome).
