Right equipment for C and Ku reception?

My Satellite Setup
Dreambox DM500
75cm Ku-band @ 78.5E
185cm C-band @ 78.5E
My Location
Thailand
Until now I have used a setup with 1 dish, a simple splitter and 3 receivers. Since the whole bouquet is on the High/Horizontal part of the Ku band, it works fine as there's no need for the LNB to switch modes.

Now I added a 185cm dish for the C-band with a LNB that has a H and V output. The satellite shop said the combined setup would work through a multiswitch:
High/H input to Ku-band LNB
High/V input - not connected
Low/H input to C-band LNB H output
Low/V input to C-band LNB V output
then there's 6 outputs on the multiswitch for the receivers.

I set it up like this, but to no joy. To be sure the dish was aligned properly, I mounted a Ku-band LNB right next to the C-band LNB and got a good signal immediately.
Then I connected respectively the H and V output straight into the receiver, scanned, but no lock possible. SNR never goes above 60%, AGC peaks at 100%.

C-band LNB has a LO of 5.15 and is setup as 5150/5150/3800 in the receiver.

So my question: did I do anything wrong? Or does a multiswitch not work with the C-band frequency? (Or, is the C-band LNB broken?)

Remove the Ku lnb first as it will complicate everything. However, the C-band lnb should be able to function OK. Are you sure it is 2x fixed polarity lnb (H only and V only out), and not a twin output lnb?

It's a LNB from Mazz, type Mazz-232.
Seperate H and V outputs, it's not a dual output.

Have you tried the C band LNB outputs direct to the receiver to see that you are getting reception ?

Yep

Then you either have,

a faulty LNB,
the dish is too small for C-Band / pointing in the wrong direction, or,
you have not set up the receiver correctly to receive the channels
