We have all seen the ring tone adverts with Sweetie the chick and that sodding frog on them. Do you find ring tone ads useful, or do they drive you insane with annoyance.??

Not at all - pass me the rifle when you've finished with it, please.

Well I think that poll proves something important to the ring tone developers dont you? Its a pretty definite result! :D

Unfortunately they are still laughing all the way to the bank and even looks like the Frog tone will reach number one in the charts.   :-lan2

I think the marketing technique is entirely wrong and they should be ashamed of themselves for enticing young children into contracts to drain funds from their top ups, and parents should take a more involved role in their kids activities.

Is it my imagination or are there more of these bl**dy adverts on telly every week. It seems that every other ad on the UK satellite channels is for assorted ringtones now. My current pet hate is that soddin dragon. I think roasting slowly over a hot fire would be suitable for him

Sadly we dont have a roasting dragon smilie, so this one will have to do

They don't bother me if I see them but I usually switch to teletext while adverts are playing.

One cant watch MTV without being bombarded with ringtones over and over again. MTV germanys the worst. Klingeltone this and klingeltone that, I DONT WANT YOUR KLINGELTONES!!!!!

LOl, I've actually gone back to a standard "Ring Ring" type tone, I've suffered from overexposure of ployphonics. :)

Is that a medical condition RolfW?

I'm suffering from the same as rolfw! Hope I have it covered on my health plan.

Ringtonitis:

A syndrome mainly effecting the 18-30 age group, caused by overexposure of ployphonics. The symptoms include Humming mindless tunes, constantly checking mobile phone, and having the Crazy Frog CD. In order to make a full recovery, many people go cold turkey, and use a traditional ring ring tone. Others simply succum to overexposure of ployphonics, and big businesses make a fortune out of these addicts. The only true cure is to mute the adverts on TV and throw your phone into the sea.

Soruce: Collins medical dictionary of Narnia.

Agreed, the "something always in my ears" is soon going to be earplugs.

Hmmmm .... Alex, was that "Harry Potter and the very annoying Rings from Narnia"? Aslan calling Gollum on Hermione's witchphone .......
