Very sad, Bat Out Of Hell is one of my all time favourite albums.

Very sad news indeed. He had been unwell on and off for quite a few years.

RIP Marvin Lee.
 
I saw him at knebworth in the early eighties, I've used Bat out of Hell as a means of "staying a wake"when driving back late from somewhere in the car for years. RIP

Two outta three ain’t bad. Meatloaf and Jim Steinman within nine months of each other. Looks like the nostalgia circuit is taking a big hit these days.
