Another death ...but this time not so much a celebrity as a celebritree ..
The giant sequoia through which a tunnel was cut has been felled by the wind ..

I recall images of the tree, and a car driving through in an encyclopedia my parents owned, I must have been three at the time.

RIP, and all the creatures that had made it their home.

..Even so ..it is still a sad loss that such an ancient giant is lost to mother Earth..

I suspect the 'Ents' will be more than a bit upset..
