Hello, guys.

First of all, thanks for all the tutorials and guides that helped me set up my DreamBox, I am truly grateful.

So, I was watching a show and it had subtitles on it. Then I thought if it was possible to retrieve these subs in any format into my DreamBox disk.
Is there any plugin or any method avaiable for doing this?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

They are stored in transport stream - you should be able to rip them but not sure what the best application for that is.

I am using NGrab so my output is a mpg file. Do you think I can still retrieve subtitles from it?

Not from mpg. Only TS. Ngrab strips everything but the video and audio.

If you record directly to Dreambox's hard drive and transfer these files across, you'll be able to extract the subs.

I see, and indeed recording directly gives me a TS file.

Thank you very much sir, problem solved!
