As many of you will know I LOVE rocket launches. It started when I was a nipper and I saw the mighty Saturn V's rising oh so slowly off the launch pads whilst taking men to the moon.

These days rockets take off every few weeks, and if you know where to look on the web theres plenty of coverage to choose from

Arianespace - home of the Ariane 5 workhorse. Soon to have Soyuz & Vega's going up as well.

launch webstream:

Note - You can sign up for email notifications of when theres a launch happening.

International Launch Services - Soyuz & Protons

United Launch Alliance - Delta 2's / Delta 4's / Atlas 5's

launch webstream:

Note - if you are on Facebook you can sign up for ULA updates.

Sea Launch - currently exiting Administration & should restart operations later in 2011

Btw, a real shame about yesterdays Taurus/Glory failure. The payload did not shed the fairing, making the launch too heavy for the rocket second stage.

First asteroid mining craft launch in a couple of hours, with a two hour window.

Bennu - look it up

| NASA

Only two years to get there, and five to get back, plus no real littering to speak of.
