Can I suggest that upload a copy in this thread so that anyone who wants it can download it. You can upload PDFs up to 5MB in size directly, anything larger you should wrap inside a ZIP file.

At the moment Gordonmacq doesn't have the privileges to send or receive PMs and we don't advise the posting of email addresses in open forum

Eventually found this..... any use?

[warning]No live links to be posted[/warning]

It is against forum rules to post live links hence the moderation. The link however is a dead link and does not lead to any file.
I suggest you post the link to the file again but prefix it with -
as in -http://www.whereever.com

You do not have PM privileges as you have insufficient posts

Why have you deleted the link? Id unparsed it (made it none clickable) and it was fine like that. Taking it to pm only is a terribly selfish thing to do and basically you are misusing the forum. Forums like this exist by a free flow of information backwards and forwards

Also anyone new to the forum who needs that manual cant contact you as they wont have pm rights :D.

misusing the Forum?

all I am doing is offering the manual to anyone that needs it.

You said it was against the rules to post live links

Maybe you should allow Live links and PMs to all users

Not a very friendly forum just offering help to others!

I can not reply or post any more as all of my posts are now being moderated or deleted

We had to restrict PM and editing permissions for new users as this was being abused by spammers.

When a person has been a member for a short while and made a few genuine posts then these privileges (and they are privileges, not rights) are assigned automatically. Spammers don't have the patience to wait for this.

Live links are another issue. Basically, they sap our bandwidth and unless someone pays us for this they are leaching off us. Live links pointing within our own site are OK of course.

You obviously have no conception of what goes on behind the scenes on a forum and if you read back I indicated that you can post links but stop it becoming live by prefixing the http with a - sign so I suggest you do just that

Well we try not to be rude but we have certain rules to be followed.

Regardless, on behalf of anyone who needs the manual, thank you .
