Rover STC Problem

My Rover STC (my baby) has started playing up today. Is there a way I can reset the machine to factory settings? I tried to re load firmware 1.59 but no luck getting it on to the meter.

Comes up with the error "Micro flash upgrading failure! Programming flash is aborted"
 
Have you tried updating it again? Start SMART before you plug your meter into your PC, insert the lead then turn the meter on after SMART starts and try again.
 
You should be able to go back to the last firmware version.
 
Hi, i completely wiped it and put back on my stored memory plans.All ok now. Original problem was not being able to find a Scandi channel, turned out symbol rate was incorrect on K of Sat! Will check various sources next time for obscure transponders (to me) next time!
