As long as it is a "standard" NULL model cable, you can use it to telnet into the box + transfer data (albiet slowly). An ethernet cable is a much faster way to go.

If you want to check you cable pinout try http://www.null-modem.com/NullModem.htm for a diagram.

It is not totally clear what you want to do. Excuse if this is obvious:-
If you are into this satellite business, a null modem cable is so cheap that you should not consider making one. Buy one. You then connect the serial port of your PC to the serial port of your receiver. You then communicate via the com port of your PC.
An ethernet cable is something different and you need this if you are talking to the receiver on your local area network (LAN) or connecting it directly to PC using a CAT5 cross-over cable.
Your question almost sounds as if you want an RS232 at one end and ethernet at the other. Did you mean this?

i was meaning on using only null cable for inserting images, flashing, updating keys,setings...ect IS IT POSIBLE

i dont have enternet card so i want to use null kable rom my humax 5400z for those things

You can use the NULL modem cable to flash images, and manually edit keys, etc.
