RTBF Sat on Astra 19.2e - cannot find TP

Hi all,

Using information from both Lyngsat and RTBF's web site I tried to receive the channels from this TP, but when scanned was told there was nothing there.

I thought that perhaps my signal is poor from 19.2e but can receive plenty of other TPs and analouge channels without a problem.

I have found that my receiver cannot find these two TPs:

RTBF: 10832 H , 22000-5/6
TVP: 10862 H , 22000-5/6

However, on kingofsat it lists these two TPs not as the above, but as 10832.25 H and 10861.75 H. I know that I cannot enter decimal points on my Echostar. Might this be a possible problem?

Can anyone else receive RTBF?
 
Working fine here.

Dont worry about the decimal bits of the frequency - receivers will lock to a signal anything up to 10MHz off the nominal channel ;)

Nice screengrab. I like the way this forum presents (new window imposed over a darkened background of this forum). Ok - I am off to realign dish because this has to be the problem. I have found a few channels that have sparkles there and some digital channels that a a little pixilated, so the alignment cannot be spot on, which is probably why those two (and probably others) cannot be found. I had not realised that it was that picky.
