S*y card and updates in Dreambox

I use Betad with my S*y card. Works fine, but it seems I have to insert it into the Sky digibox every month or so, for sometimes up to 2 days to get the necessary updates. Otherwise some channels just disappear (Ch4 etc). Is this "normal"? Is there no way to have updates also come into the card using the Dreambox?

I've had my sly FTA card working in the bottom slot of my 7020 for about 3 months now. It's never been out and works great with newcamd_6.02_betad_050910.tar.bz2. on the gemini image.
I didn't edit anything for boxid it just works straight away.
