"SHARES in supermarket group J Sainsbury nudged up 0.4% after a 9% increase in pre-tax profits narrowly beat expectations and it announced a £60 million bonus payout for its 124,000 workers.
Sainsbury’s pre-tax earnings of £665m for the year to March 19 were some £5m more than the City expected."
